The Warm Hearth Foundation has awarded $25,000 in scholarships to 17 Warm Hearth Village employees who are pursuing educational opportunities and career advancement, marking another milestone in the Foundation’s ongoing investment in employee growth and development. Since the program’s inception, the Foundation has awarded a total of $115,000 in scholarships to Warm Hearth Village employees.
Now in its sixth year, the scholarship program supports employees across a variety of disciplines as they pursue job-related education, certifications, and professional development opportunities. The Warm Hearth Foundation Board of Trustees Scholarship Committee reviewed a record number of applications this year before announcing award recipients in June.

These scholarships are one way we, with the support of our generous donors, demonstrate our commitment to helping employees grow professionally while building meaningful careers within our organization.”
The scholarship program is funded through charitable contributions to the Warm Hearth Foundation and represents one of several employee-focused initiatives supported by donors. In addition to scholarships, Foundation-supported programs provide employee appreciation opportunities, leadership development programs, and assistance during times of unexpected hardship.
The continued success of the scholarship program reflects the generosity of donors who understand the importance of attracting, developing, and retaining a skilled and dedicated workforce in the senior living industry.
Beyond employee support initiatives, the Warm Hearth Foundation administers funding for a variety of strategic programs benefiting the growth of the organization, its residents and employees, including charitable healthcare assistance, emergency aid, pantry programs, wellness and fitness initiatives, and innovative approaches to aging.
