Helping Those In Need Today
Many seniors on our campus worked hard and saved for their future, but they now find themselves in need of life’s most basic necessities. More than one-third of the nearly 600 residents at Warm Hearth Village are seniors on low, fixed incomes who rely on assistance to secure life's most basic necessities. The Foundation strives to educate our community about the challenges low-income seniors face that range from food insecurity to safe housing and access to health care.

The Brian H. Smith Benevolence Endowment
This growing endowment was established by Warm Hearth resident donors. Named for an inspirational Foundation Trustee, earnings will be used to provide vital care at Showalter and Kroontje Health Care Centers to residents who cannot afford to pay. The endowment has blossomed from a $5,000 gift into more than $2 million in 2021.
