Helping Those in Need Today

Helping Those in Need Today

Warm Hearth's mission is carried out in large part with money donated to our three largest funds. These funds ensure that our most vulnerable seniors, our employees and our campus are able to thrive and grow. Your donations make a difference each and every day.

Neighbors in Need Fund

The Neighbors in Need fund and Micah's programs provide basic and vital assistance to seniors TODAY as they face everyday challenges of food insecurity, access to safe housing and health care services. Help us bridge the gaps for seniors who have worked hard all their lives and now find themselves needing these most basic necessities of life.

Employee Growth & Development

Over the past 45 years, we have grown and now employ more than 300 people in careers that range from nurses to groundskeepers and everything in between. Our employees are the cornerstone of Warm Hearth Village and one of our most valuable resources. We raise funds to help support employees through scholarships, training and education, and employee appreciation initiatives.

Strategic Growth & Campus Revitalization

Dr. Wybe Kroontje established a powerful mission and vision and a 100-year plan for our continued growth and development. This, combined with dutiful strategic planning by our volunteer board of directors and our staff, positions us to meet the changing needs of seniors in our community and beyond. We seek and use donated funds for land acquisition, new construction, transportation resources, improvements to infrastructure and specialty programming designed to meet the unique needs of people over 55.

Micah's Programs

A key component of our Neighbors In Need fund, the Micah's Programs help fill in the gaps for our seniors with their basic, everyday needs. The Micah’s Programs provide shelf-stable groceries, fresh produce, prepared meals, personal care items and pet food and supplies to our most vulnerable seniors through Micah’s Pantry, Micah's Garden, Micah’s Meals, Micah's Personal Care Items and Micah's Pets.
