Residents of the Founders Forest independent living community at Warm Hearth Village (WHV) recently thanked employees for their leadership, protection, and excellent response to the challenges presented by the pandemic. Officers on the Founders Forest Resident Council presented President & CEO, Brad Dalton with a special certificate at their March meeting.
“The certificate enumerates several general examples of actions for which we are especially thankful. But space limitations make it impossible to cite everything. Saying “thank you” seems woefully inadequate,” said Les Myers, President of the Founders Forest Resident Council. “I was especially struck by (a) the early recognition of the pandemic’s seriousness and the timely preparations and protocols; (b) recognizing and addressing special resident needs such as shopping, activities, new ways to communicate, and medical issues; (c) managing the vaccination process for all in the village to have had access to vaccinations and (d) the successful, transparent and timely communications,” he added.
“I’m so proud to know that our efforts were meaningful and helpful to our residents. It was a difficult year with some difficult decisions and this certificate validates everyone’s hard work and determination. I couldn’t be more proud of the entire Warm Hearth family.”
