The ‘Because We Care’ campaign brought more than 300 Warm Hearth Village employees together to support the Warm Hearth Foundation’s annual employee giving effort and raised $18,000 to help advocate, innovate and care for seniors in our community. Even our mail carrier, Greg Cook, got involved this year!
The annual campaign provides an opportunity for education on the need to fundraise, a chance to celebrate our impact through fundraising and the opportunity to build teamwork across the village toward a common goal. Employees volunteered their time, donated to raffles and pledged gifts to support Warm Hearth’s efforts to provide programs and charitable care to residents, support employees through scholarships and emergency assistance and this year to aid the start up of Warm Hearth at Home’s new hospice offering.
Highlights of Warm Hearth’s Impact in 2024 Include:
- $1.2 in charitable subsidies and assistance to residents in need of housing and healthcare
- Micah’s Pantry provided nearly 52,000 lbs. of shelf-stable groceries and fresh produce to residents
- Employee Scholarship Program in total has awarded more than $60,000 to employees for education and career advancement
