Rachael’s interest in fitness began in her hometown of Rochester, NY when her father introduced her to the sport of orienteering. Since then, she has pursued cross country running, Nordic skiing, and even pole vaulting before settling into her passion of race walking. Since 2007, Rachael has competed nationally and internationally in the race walk, which is an Olympic event. In 2014, Rachael graduated from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, with a major in biology and minors in math and philosophy.
Rachael’s goal at Warm Hearth Village is to encourage YOU to find activities that you enjoy so that you can meet your fitness goals. From personal experience, Rachael has learned that fitness is not an all or nothing endeavor, but rather a continuum that can be designed to suit each individual. As a certified personal trainer, Rachael brings this insight to meet each client’s unique physical, emotional, and mental needs. In Rachael’s free time, she enjoys swimming and hiking, reading the news, and spending time with her family.
